One of the few hotels in Cuba that can be described as a real gem is the Blau Varadero. It is beloved adequate that many guests come back more than once. You will find it overlooking, but not quite on the beautiful white sand Varadero beach.
[b]Beach[/b]
Before reading any supplementary you need to understand that the Blau Varadero hotel is not a thing of beauty. In fact it looks like a very large lump of concrete, not great to look at, not remotely rustic, but very functional. It is after all a large hotel with over 340 rooms and suites.
Talking of the rooms, they are a exiguous Spartan, but very clean, well supplied with towels, and also spotlessly white sheets which are changed normally by the very willing and industrious maids. The maids are part of a staff that works very hard to ensure you have a great vacation.
From the beach staff who ensure the white sand is immaculate, to the pool staff who keep that area unmistakably spotless, you will be impressed by them. As an all inclusive hotel you would be right to check on the capability of the food and drink. There are three restaurants, and in two of them you can eat a la carte once a week, otherwise it is buffets. The breakfast buffet is especially overwhelming with great choices. In the evening if you can’t get the bistro of your choice, then you can eat down on the beach.
In terms of entertainment, then the pool is the centre for daily activity. If you are looking for peace and quiet, then maybe you should retire to the beach.
Hotels in Cuba are not of the same proper as in the rest of the Caribbean. In turn the Caribbean isn’t up to the proper of European Hotels, and it is prominent to realise this before going to Cuba. If you are prepared to accept this then by Cuban standards the Blau Varadero is surely in the top three beach hotels in Cuba.
